A New Partnership With Bookshop.org

We're excited to announce that we've teamed up with Bookshop.org to help with the massive increase in special orders and new-book sales. Bookshop.org allows customers to shop online while supporting their favorite local and independent bookstores in the process. All you have to do is make your way to our Bookshop.org page to get started. Just make sure you can see the Beers Books logo on the top left of your screen to confirm that you're supporting us directly!

Keep in mind that this is only for new books and special orders sent to your house via distributor. To check stock on new and used books that we have in-store, a phone call is still best. Thanks, and happy holidays!

Zine fair!

Heyo! Beers will be hosting a bunch of rad zine-makers on Small Business Saturday, the 25th, from 12-4. This queer/trans-hosted event is packed full of talented artists! See flyer for details.

Grand Opening -- September 16th!

After hundreds of hours of organizing, restocking, and alphabetizing, it’s time for a grand opening!

The state of the shop has improved considerably since our admittedly scrappy soft opening. We’ve since stocked the shelves with thousands of new and used titles and the store genuinely looks fantastic.

Join us on Saturday, September 16th for our official launch. There will be snacks.

Additionally, we will be giving away our super high quality vinyl Beers Books stickers with every purchase (while supplies last).

Come on out, check out the fresh inventory, and show some love to the bookstore that refused to go away. We're open 11am-7pm daily. As always, make sure to follow us on Instagram for the very latest updates. Cheers!

Soft Opening 8/26

After many delays, we have finally brought the staff back and plan to open at 712 R St on Saturday, August 26th. We’re planning a more ‘grand’ opening in September, but the renovation is basically done, so we are finally ready to get books on the shelves and do what we do best!

Not everything will be perfect right away, but Beers has always been a work-in-progress sort of place/vibe. So please come see us, tag a friend, and keep the mind-rot at bay with a good book (or ten).

Cheers, see you soon!
