Selling and trading your used books, DVDs, and cd audio books at Beers has never been easier! Here's how it works:
As we see sometimes up to a thousand titles a day, we can get very busy so we request that if possible, to please call ahead on the day you would like to come in to sell to help us control the book traffic. Unfortunately, many times people will bring in their books only to be told that we are too busy or that it is too late in the day to sell. Additionally, we never consider books for buying or trading within an hour of closing and often, due to high volume, we stop even earlier. By calling ahead you can make sure you don't bring your books down here for nothing. With that said, here is our book buying system.

1. When you bring your books in to the store, please bring them down to the end of the counter so we can assist you. Often we will be looking at another customer's books, so there may be a brief waiting period during which you may freely browse about our store. It is not necessary for you to be present at the counter while we look at your books. We do ask that you do not drop your books off in advance or for the next day, as our space is limited. If you do not have time for us to look at your books, we request that bring them in when you do.

2. Once we have looked at your books, we will make you an offer on what we have selected.Our cash offer will be set at 1/4 of our selling price, while our used trade offer will be 1/3 of our selling price. These offers apply to hardback and quality sized paperbacks, DVDs, and audio books. Any books that we do not accept will be your responsibility to take back home with you. Our used credit is good for anything USED in the store. Your credit has no expiration date and may be used at anytime.

3. Pocketbooks: These books, the smaller paperbound novels, are accepted only in credit for more of the same format. You will be given a credit based on the cover price of your pocketbooks to be applied to our stock. This credit applies only to pocketbooks and is not valid for the purchase of hardbacks, VHS, DVDs, quality paperbacks or audio books.
